I am a middle school media specialist - grades 5-8. Here are some things happening in our media center! I plan on making this at least a bi-monthly post on Fridays. We'll see if life gets in the way! Maud Hart Lovelace Book Nominees One of the biggest things done since the media center opened was getting all the Maud Hart Lovelace book nominees, cataloged, stickered and out. That was for a total of around 50 books which is a lot at the start of the year. I'm happy to say they are all out and read for the kids to start reading. Here's the display We also got new furniture. That was exciting! And I put up some other displays By the Numbers Current Number of Books Circulated 1877 Number of Book Currently Checked out 1043 Number of books added so far this year 205 Top 5 Books Checked Out Girl Stolen The Maze Runner El Deafo Diary of a Wimpy Kid Cabin Fever Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Third Wheel
